About Us
A Masjid Built on Faith, Unity, and Perseverance
Our masjid was founded in the early 2000s, during one of the most challenging times for Muslims in the U.S. Despite strong criticism, threats, and public opposition, Allah (SWT) guided us through every hurdle. What began as a small effort to host Ramadan prayers in a rented space has grown into a vibrant community hub in Douglasville, Metro Atlanta.
Moved by the lack of local prayer spaces, we began hosting Tarawih and daily Salah in our home. Alhamdulillah, with the support of our neighbors and community dedication, we continued to grow.
After multiple failed attempts to secure a permanent location, we finally acquired and remodeled an old school building into the welcoming masjid we have today.
Vision Statement
To become the unifying platform for nurturing and sustaining a vibrant Muslim community in West Georgia, and to help improve the quality of life for the broader society.
Mission Statement
The mission is to enhance the quality of Iman (faith) and the application of Islam in the West Georgia region through religious services, youth development, community engagement, and interfaith bridge-building.
